Just finished my new piece, this is for younger Sam.
I named it “Seen”
This original painted was sold before I could even post it here.
Before he bought it, he asked me one thing.
"What's the meaning? Why the black sheep?"
Here's what I told him.
The hands are God. Held. Chosen. Found. Protected by the Creator.
The sheep is me.
Black sheep on purpose. I'm the first entrepreneur in my family. First to be told it couldn't be done. The outlier. The shy kid. The one made fun of for being different.
The point of the painting is simple. Even the one who didn't fit in was still a child of God. Still seen.
He got it. Bought it that day.
Here's why I'm telling you.
It’s been a while since my last drop, Im thinking June or July for my next one.
