First Teaser - New Painting š
Hereās your first look at my 7Ć12-foot piece.
Now, Iām not going to reveal the entire story just yet, but if youāve been paying attention, youāll remember the hint I dropped last week:
āWhen the storm just doesnāt seem to stop.ā.

About the Process:
For Jesusā face, I looked to a certain historical artifact to bring an extra layer of authenticity to His likeness. Iāll share more about that once the painting is complete and youāve seen the full scene.
But hereās something I can tell you now:
That glowing orange background? Itās a wash underpaint. A mixture of gold and nickel azo fluid acrylic paint.
When I think of Jesusāwhether itās His teachings, Biblical landscapes, or powerful scenes like thisāI always imagine an undertone of gold running through it all.
Every single one of my Biblical paintings contains layers of fine gold paints blended into them. Itās what gives the pieces that ethereal, sacred look thatās become part of my style.

Would you prefer to collect a biblical scene depicting a miraculous action OR a quiet, reflective moment (e.g., Jesus in prayer) |
This is just the beginning of this piece. More updates soon.
I canāt wait to share the entire piece with you and dive into its meaning and process once itās complete.
See you next Friday with another look,
Sam Ryan
