Painting an American Cinema Icon

This week I finished up a special commissioned piece of the classic actor Humphrey Bogart.

As per request, my client wanted a smoother texture instead of my bigger brushstroke style like my JFK portrait pictured below.

I used a paint extender to blend the colors and this is the final result!

There will be a combination of both of those styles plus charcoal in my next piece.
