Painting Legends and Spreading Joy

Dolly Parton/Roberto Clemente

Welcome to another edition of my weekly newsletter! This week, I had the pleasure of painting two iconic figures and bringing joy to the residents of Madison Health and Rehab.

First, I painted a portrait of Roberto Clemente, a legendary baseball player and humanitarian.

Clemente was not only a skilled athlete but also a generous philanthropist who dedicated his life to helping others. I hope my painting will serve as a tribute to this great man and remind us all of the impact one person can make in the world.

In addition to painting Clemente, I also had the opportunity to share my passion for art with the residents of Madison Health and Rehab. I did a painting demonstration of Dolly Parton, another iconic figure known for her talent and philanthropy.

The residents really enjoyed picking colors for me to use and learning about the techniques I use to capture a subject's likeness. Seeing the joy on their faces made my day! I was honored to share my skills with them.

Thank you for reading my newsletter. Stay tuned for more updates on my painting journey.

Best regards, Sam Ryan
