Hey this is what im feeling.
Something was off in me this last weekend though this week.
I'm not going to dress it up.
There was anger and helplessness. Something unsettling that was starting to spin.
It spirals if you let it, and I hadn’t felt like this in a while.
I packed my paints, rented a car, loaded my canvas, and drove.
Out of the studio. out of my head.
To somewhere in the Texas woods, on the water.
The first night it stormed, I watched the sky throw light sideways across the rain.
I painted
I don't know if I'll be back by next Friday.
Might stay another week.
I'll paint until it's out of me or I finish this piece here.
