Started two new paintings this week

Started a new painting this week.
Actually planning to start two at once—just to see what happens.

I laid down a vermilion red wash to kick it off.
That color always stuck with me.

When I was a kid, I was obsessed with guitar.
One of my biggest influences was Slash from Guns N’ Roses.
He had this signature Gibson in vermilion red—
I wanted that guitar more than anything.

Never got it.

And I think maybe that’s a good thing.

If I had, I probably would’ve burned out.
Tried to skip the hard part.
Same with painting—if I was just born knowing how to do it,
I doubt I’d still be here doing it every day.

There’s something about earning it slowly pushing through, getting obsessed—

Also— I really appreciate the support on Custos Invicta.

and a lot of you asking if I’m gonna release prints.

When I decide whether I want to do another drop,
