This Painting Hurt, I didn't sleep.

Hey,

I didn’t sleep the night the news broke. I stayed in the studio for twelve hours straight painting.

The piece that came from that night is called American Martyr, in memory of Charlie Kirk.

When I painted President Trump and received backlash, Charlie sent me a private message of encouragement. He even told me he wanted one for his studio. That meant more to me than I can explain.

I’m devastated by his passing, and I want his legacy to live on.

Because of this, the reveal I had planned for today will be moved to next Friday at 11:11 AM CDT. I don’t want to take away from this moment.

For now, I’d ask you to join me in saying a prayer for the Kirk family.
