To My Collectors: A Special Ask and Update

This past weekend, I traveled to Texas to visit one of my collectors.

She owns the original painting of Prayer, and I had the chance to sign it in person for her.

She sent me this message after getting it hung, and I’ve been thinking about it ever since:

"This wall was made for your painting. The sacrifice our Lord and Savior made for us undoes me. When I read in the Bible what you painted, it rips at my heart. Thank you again for giving us the honor of displaying this beautiful piece. You are welcome to come and see it any time. God bless you."

Reading this reminded me that my paintings aren’t just static images.

They’re about something far greater—hope- stories that connect us all.

If You Own One of My Pieces...

Whether it’s a small paper print or a GrandMaster canvas, I’d love to see where you’ve placed it in your home.

It would mean the world to me to see how my art has found a place in your life.

If you’d like to share, just reply to this email with your photos, and I’ll feature some of them on my Instagram story!

As for my next painting, I’ve finished the face and body of Jesus, basing His likeness on a historical artifact.

I’ve put Him in period-correct clothing and hair, aiming to get as close as I can to a lifelike image—something that feels real, grounded, but still carries that deeper meaning.

I’ll share more about the artifact I used as a reference in next week’s email once I’ve made more progress on the piece.

Thank you for being here, for believing in my art, and for letting me share this journey with you.

I can’t wait to see your photos.

Talk soon,
Sam
